Simple Crochet Flower Applique - FREE PATTERN

Hello,

Today I have for you my first pattern I ever created from scratch. I'm really happy to share it with you and I hope you'll enjoy making it.

This is a very simple and quick to work with flower design. Depending on your hook size and yarn you can make it small or big and use wherever you want, on a hat, headband or a bag.

To make flowers pictured below I used 5mm (G) crochet hook and some  scrap yarn in different colors.

Flower Pattern:

Abbreviations (written in UK terms):

MR - Magic Ring  (Here is great tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7GHTfXaz2E )
DC - Double Crochet
HTR - Half Treble
TR - Treble
DTR - Double Treble
ST - Stitch
CH - Chain

MR, ch1, 10 DC in magic ring, join to first DC
Rnd 2: ch 4, SS in the next 2 st, repeat 4 more times. You should have five { 4 chain } sections.
Rnd 3: { DC, 2 HTR, 2 TR, 2 DTR, 2 TR, 2 HTR, DC } repeat in each chain 4
Five petals are made.

Now you can fasten off leaving a long tail to sew or weave in ends.

If you have any questions or find some mistakes in this pattern, please feel free to comment and ask anything...:)

Happy crocheting,
Warmest
Lisbeth

Crochet Baby Girl Sets

Hello,

Today I want to show you two crochet sets for two little baby girls. I made them in last weeks. Both are made with 100% cotton and the size is approx. 0-3 months.
Hats and slippers from both sets are my original projects.

First set include: hat, ballet slippers and dress. I decided make it with cream and coral colors. For the decoration I added simple bows.

For the dress I used this lovely pattern from WoolyWondersCrochet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HohJhrZFr74

Second set I made with light pink and grey and its include little beret, slippers and dress with suspenders.
For little decorations I added simply flowers on beret and slippers and cute buttons with flowers.

Crochet tote bag

Hello,

One day my daughter ask me for library bag, she want it very colorful and what is the most important, bag should be finish with turquoise, her favourite color.
So, I decide to make this bag with my favourite sunburst granny squares, here is a great tutorial for this squares: sunburst granny square tutorial

To make this bag I use colorful leftover yarn from my stash and 4.5mm crochet hook.
I've made 18 squares ( 9 for each side of bag), and join them with slip stitch.
For the closure I made simple chain and sew big button on the front.

I also add lining inside the bag and on the straps to avoid stretching.

Crocheting this bag was so much fun, especially when we both with my daughter choose colors to sunburst squares. So, I think the bag looks great and what is most important for me...my daughter loves it.. 😍😀

Witch accessories

Hello,

Just quick look for accessories I've made for my daughter to her costume for the Book Week.
She choose witch outfit from ''Room on the Broom'' book. So I made a bow, wand and brooch.

I crocheted simply bow, attached a wristband and glued few red gem stickers.

To make a wand I wrapped wooden stick with white and blue ribbon. Then I crocheted two yellow stars, sewed together with simply SC and stuffed a little. Finally I attached star to my ribbon stick with hot glue gun. I also glued two blue plastic gems to each side of star.

And the last thing, brooch...I cut out the simply oval shape with yellow felt and glued few green plastic gems then I attached a little piece of velcro on the back.

So,this is it! She looked very witchy and she loved it!!!
