Crochet Unicorn

Hello,

I'd like to introduce to you a new amigurumi creature in my crochet toys collection: lovely cuddly unicorn.

This adorable crochet toy was originally created by ChiWei from One Dog Woof

When my daughter saw him she said she must have him and it is the most beautiful unicorn she has ever seen. So, I grabbed my hook and yarn and tadaaa... few days later Kate The Unicorn ( that's how my daughter called her new friend ) was finished.

You can find the free pattern here: Rainbow Crochet Unicorn Pattern

To made the unicorn I used 4mm (G) crochet hook ( Clover Amour Crochet Hook ) and a mix of colors ( Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran ).

My unicorn came out a bit smaller because I used smaller crochet hook than ChiWei. I also made a bit longer and more colorful mane and tail.

Crochet Reusable Face Scrubbies – Free Pattern

Hello,

I’m really happy to present to you my little crochet project, Face Scrubbies. It’s a very simple, beginners friendly pattern.
Scrubbies are made with 100% cotton yarn and what is fantastic about them, they’re reusable. So, after using them you can just wash and reuse them. This can be a little step towards making our planet cleaner. These pads are perfect to removing makeup and cleaning your skin daily.

Crochet Reusable Face Scrubbies - Pattern

Materials:
A 100% cotton yarn. I used ( Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK ), but you can use any 100% cotton, I also love use ( DMC Natura Just Cotton or Lily Sugar 'n Cream Solids )
4mm ( G ) crochet hook. I used my favourite ( Clover Amour Aluminum Crochet Hook )
Yarn or tapestry needle
Scissors

Abbreviations:
(UK crochet terms)

MC – magic circle ( Magic Circle tutorial )
ch - chain
ps – puff stitch
ss – slip stitch
st(s) – stitch(es)

Puff Stitch (ps) – Yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch and pull up a loop through the stitch. Repeat this three times. Now you have seven loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all seven loops, chain one to complete the stitch.

Ok, now we’ve got all that sorted, so let’s get crocheting!

MR, ch1, 7ps into the ring, join to the top of first ps (7sts).

Rnd 2: ch1, 2ps in every space around, join to the top of first ps  (14sts).

Rnd 3: ch1, 2ps in first space, 1ps in next. Repeat around, join to the top of first ps (21sts).

Rnd 4: ss in every stitch around.

Fasten off, weave in ends.

So, your first very own face scrubbie is ready! Now you can make a bunch of them and use them every day.
PDF version is available in my Etsy shop ( One Crafty Magpie Etsy shop )

Hope you like this little project, as always if you have any questions or you find any mistakes, feel free to ask me and comment any time.

Old paintings

Hello!

Today I wanna show you my old paintings and sketches.
Some of them was painted from tutorials available on the net, some are my own creations. But they're all painted by me.
Tutorials are great and very helpful when you want to learn something new, but of course the most important thing is to create something unique. Here is some of my favorite YouTube channels about painting:
